The Audio Engineering Society is celebrating it’s 60th Anniversary this year! Since its inception, it’s members have been at the forefront of all things audio… from invention & research, right through to product, application, and education. There are presently over 13,000 AES members world-wide… your colleagues in the audio industry! In addition to activities conducted on behalf of all members (featuring the International Conventions & Conferences), each Region of the world is represented by many individual Sections. The ‘Central Region USA/Canada‘ includes Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota. Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin, along with the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, & Northwest Territories. Twenty-seven Sections, eleven Professional & sixteen Student, operate independently to bring an educational & collaborative experience to their membership in local meetings and activities throughout the year.
